Walking Pad A1 Pro Review: Best Walking Pad?

()

Introduction

We were thrilled to write an evaluation of the WalkingPad treadmill since we’ve not been on a similar kind of treadmill before. This was our first experience and, to be truthful, our expectations were not high.

It’s like, and all, how could this small thing be able to support my huge butt! However, (no pun meant) there’s been a lot of attention from our customers, and several requests from our online customers (yes, we do listen) to write a review. This is why we’re here.

When I got on my Walking Pad A1 Pro, it was easy to operate and was set up immediately. The device comes with a compact wireless remote control that regulates the start, stop, and speed. The best part is that the belt didn’t feel sluggish or slow when I put my 300lbs of weight on it.

This was quite an experience. The walking pad treadmill was not too awful. The possibility of being able to take it on, run it, but not be apprehensive about slaying it was an enormous benefit.

Walking Pad A1 Pro Review: Bottom Line

A treadmill that can be stored under your bed, capable of carrying 300 pounds, this is the WalkingPad A1 Pro. A compact treadmill that can accommodate more than one person, the A1 Pro makes getting in your daily exercise routine easy.

The compact treadmill folds down to reduce its remarkably compact dimensions. While you’ll never see me exercising on the treadmill, its 3.72 maximum speed and the remote-controlled brushless motor are what I’ll need to get some exercise throughout the day.

Its 47″ deck size is perfect for every stride you walk. Indeed, this WalkingPad does not have an incline; it does have a KS Fit app. The KS Fit app has nice tracking, and you can adjust the treadmill via your smartphone (if you’ve lost your remote).

The complete walk-through on the WalkingPad A1 Pro lies below, and you can scroll down.

Why is walking important for runners?

Even if you’re logging lots of miles in the running week, it’s important to take time to walk. As I said, walking at work will break up long periods of sitting and not significantly affect productivity. I’d love to see you exercise while able to host a Zoom meeting. However, there are many other advantages.  Walking can benefit runners .

I’ve been lured in with all the 10,000 steps per day hype, but I have put that as a minimum instead of my ultimate target. I’ve done this for years, and it makes me feel more relaxed, feel better, sleep better, feel better, and I could keep going on. However, when the darkness makes my normal walking route less than attractive, I struggle to keep the same level of enjoyment — that is, until a few weeks ago when I received possession of The WalkingPad A1 Pro.

WalkingPad A1 Pro: Set up

Beware, you’ll need to be aware that the WalkingPad A1 Pro arrives in a large and heavy box. The delivery guy was the only one who managed to get it up two flights of stairs to my apartment; however, I had a lot of trouble lifting it. So keep this in mind when transferring it to the room you want to use it in.

Inside the box, you receive the following items:

  • The WalkingPad A1 Pro (folded)
  • Power cord
  • User instructions
  • Remote control
  • Battery for the remote
  • Wrist loop for the remote
  • Allen key
  • Silicone lubricant

Everything is well-packaged and secured. Once out of the box, the walking pad is simple to move because of the integrated wheels on the front. Just take the back off the ground (when you fold the pads) and then roll it across the floor.

Before plugging it in, the directions suggest that you lay out the pad on a level, stable surface just as you’d imagine. I’ve used it on flat weave carpet on a wood floor, and it’s been working well; any other type of surface aside from the shag carpet is likely to be suitable.

After you’re done, turn off the walking pad, then unplug it and fold it in half to be stored.

The walking pad folds in half, cutting down its footprint by half when it is stored flat. If you’re putting it under the sofa, bed, or desk, it will fit into the space without any need for heavy lifting or a complicated set of steps. The system for folding is designed to last, so it can be folded and unrolled without fear every single day.

The WalkingPad A1 Pro takes everything that users are fond of about the P1 Foldable Classic Walking Treadmill, with its sleek designreliable performance, and compact folding. Then it provides just a little more comfort and security. It is able to support up to 300 pounds, providing extra endurance for a larger variety of users. Additionally, it has an integrated display that displays your speed, time, and distance, so you can track your progress at a glance.

With a 47″ length, your walking belt will allow you to take a natural stride and not feel constrained, particularly for those who are taller or prefer to speed up their pace.

From a relaxing stroll as you work, or a quick stroll during your favorite television show. You can alter the speed to anywhere between 0.5 and 3.75 mph. It’s a feature that can easily fit into your daily routine. There’s no pressure, no compulsion, exactly how you prefer it.

The motor that is brushless provides a peaceful, tranquil walking experience without loud whirring noises or abrupt flashes. It is smooth to start, adjusts easily, and is cool, even after long walks. It’s low-maintenance and energy efficient, which means you can concentrate on getting moving and not worry over the equipment.

WalkingPad A1 Pro: Design

What sets the WalkingPad A1 Pro apart from other models is its folding design. It’s great for walking the track to catch the new Netflix series, or strolling to work, the track can be tucked under your sofa or desk, and keep it out of view after a long day. This is especially useful for desks in tight spaces because there’s no track long enough to extend into the room.

If folded down, the length of the pad is identical to when it is unfolded, 13cm. Unfortunately, it was too tall for my sofa, but it will be able to fit under the majority of furniture.

Dimensions/Storability

The WalkingPad A1 Pro is a compact treadmill that can be placed under desks. Its measurements include 56.37″ L x 21.5″ W 5″ H. This makes it a great treadmill for use under the majority of adjustable desks. Apart from its tiny footprint, it is also space-saving. We enjoy WalkingPads’ foldable decks. The A1 Pro deck folds down in half, just like other decks of the brand.

If it’s folded, it’s possible to move your A1 Pro around pretty easily. It weighs only 62 pounds, which makes it one of the tiniest and lightest treadmills that we’ve tested.

It’s just 5″ high even folded, which means it can be rolled under the couch, bed, or even in a closet if you’re not using it. This model is simple to move around and easy to use, so it will be able to work in a variety of situations.

Onboard Workouts & Apps

The WalkingPad A1 Pro is simple in its design; it can be used with the KS Fit App. It is here that you can utilize various features and modify the treadmill. I’ll go into this later; however, first, we’ll look at the console.

Console

The display flashes continuously to show your time, the distance, speed, steps, and calories estimated. The same thing happens with C2 and Redliro 2-In-1. C2 or Redliro 2-In-1, among others.

The only drawback with this model is that you’ll have to buy a replacement remote in the event that you lose it, so that you can use it with the A1 Pro. However, you could connect it to the KS Fit App to control the belt using your smartphone, too. The remote is easy to use, with “+” and “-” buttons for speed as well as a center button that allows you to stop and begin the belt. The remote also has a button on the bottom of the screen to change modes.

Frame

The A1 Pro sits directly on the floor. It has the highest-precision IML injection molding within the structure. The treadmill itself weighs 62 pounds. It’s about the same dimensions in weight and size as both the C2 and C1 treadmills from WalkingPad. It’s a bit heavier than these treadmills, however, only by a few pounds.
The A1 Pro’s surface is a bit slippery. A1 Pro feels similar to the C1 and C2 as well.

It’s sturdy and doesn’t have any movement, and is quite solid for its size. One thing I’m concerned about is the 300-pound weight limit. Other treadmills under desks we’ve tried have a limit of 220 pounds, which includes those that come from WalkingPad. The R2, which is a bigger treadmill, can jog and run, but has only a capacity of 240 lbs.

While I’m happy that WalkingPad is developing small treadmills that are suitable for larger people, I’d advise those who weigh 250 pounds or less not to use A1 Pro. A1 Pro, especially if you intend to walk at work for more than several miles daily.

Motor

Its walking pad A1 pro is equipped with an electric motor capable of moving the belt to 3.7 miles per hour. 3.7 milliseconds might not seem an impressive amount of speed, and when you have a bigger treadmill, it’s a leisurely or maybe brisk pace for the majority of people, but for those who work under desks, it’s a great option.

When we use A1 Pro at work, A1 Pro at our desks, it can make some noise, but it’s not too loud. The motor noise gets louder when you speed up, which is the norm for all treadmills.

The motor is solid. It is smooth to adjust, and it is quite quiet. Any treadmill, even one that is as tiny as this one, is completely silent. So, whatever treadmill for your under-desk, be aware that it will produce some kind of sound. At work, we frequently hear the sound of the motor as well as the repetitive noise of feet settling into the background, and they aren’t at all noticeable while we work.

Deck

The deck measures 16.5″ wide and 47″ long. It’s definitely small and may not be enough for certain users. If you have a huge workstation or are using two monitors on your computer, it is possible that the A1 Pro feels a little limited in terms of space.

Our tallest reviewer stands at 6’5″, and he’s able to run across the A1 Pro, too. The deck’s length will be enough to accommodate the majority of walking strides.

Its WalkingPad A1 Pro is said to come with the EVA cushioning layer inside the deck. Since the treadmill sits directly on the ground, we didn’t think it would offer much, or even any, cushioning. It’s a bit firm and like walking on wood flooring. It has a nice texture and doesn’t feel slippery.

What is what makes the A1 Pro perfect for most offices and homes is the fact that it’s only 5″ high when unrolled and folded. The topmost spot will be the motor’s cover, which is located at the top of the deck. Therefore, it’s actually just a couple of inches lower than that to get off and on the belt. It makes the A1 Pro very easy to make use of and also compatible with the majority of desks with a standing position.

As with other treadmills from the WalkingPad line that are available, A1 Pro, too, like other treadmills from WalkingPad, A1 Pro has a manual mode as well as an auto mode. Manual mode lets you manage the treadmill’s pace with the remote or via your smartphone by using the KS Fit App. Automatic mode lets you regulate the speed using your feet. If you walk up the deck’s front upwards by the motor’s hood, the speed will rise.

Warranty

The WalkingPad A1 Pro comes with a one-year warranty. It’s also fully assembled straight out of the box and is ready to go the moment you receive it.

Should You Buy The WalkingPad A1 Pro

Its WalkingPad A1 Pro Desk treadmill is a compact, light treadmill that folds down in half. It can be placed under the majority of large standing desks and can be tucked away in a bed or under a couch when not in use. it. Its interface on the A1 Pro is straightforward and user-friendly, and the remote for handheld use is simple to use.

You can also connect your smartphone with the free KS Fit App to control the treadmill using your smartphone and keep track of your current and previous workouts. While I would advise those who weigh more than 250lbs to avoid using A1 Pro, it is a great option for those who weigh more than 250 pounds. A1 Pro, it is an excellent option if you’re seeking a compact treadmill under your desk.

If you’re still not meeting your goals for the day at the time of your day, then with A1 Pro, A1 Pro you can get inside them while watching your favorite box set.

It’s perfect for work calls or performing mundane tasks — especially when using the auto mode. Personally, I’m not sure it’s difficult to concentrate on more complex projects, making use of it. However, this will change in time.

The A1 Pro is equipped with a brushless motor, which significantly reduces the sound of the machine as well as increases the life of the motor. The walkingPad A1 Pro also enhances the performance that the machine has, and is able to hold up to 105kg, in comparison to 90Kg for The WalkingPad A1. A1 Pro is the first foldable treadmill with a weight capacity of 300lbs.

With the latest 180-degree folding technology, the A1 Pro folds in half and then quickly folds under couches, beds, or even a desk.

It is important to note that the A1 Pro is not a treadmill designed for running, or running. It can only go up to 3.72 mph. The deck is too small to be able to run on.

The A1 Pro goes up to 3.72 miles per hour.

The only distinction between A1 Pro and A1 Plus is the weight capacity. If you require a greater capacity for weight, A1 Plus is your ideal choice. It can handle up to 300 pounds. If you don't, you can pick A1 Pro with 220 pounds, and you'll be able to save money while enjoying the same device.

Experts Reviews for Walking Pad A1 Pro

This is my second purchase of the WalkingPad, and it's the most suitable for small areas. The patent-pending folded design of the WalkingPad is the true one to beat. It folds in half. It can be an absolute lifesaver when you do not have a gym space.

Best Walking Pad! I love the fact that it folds for storage. I'm using it, and I can take it out and fold it in just 10 seconds, and fold it back in the same manner after I'm done. The walking belt is very long, and I like it too. This machine runs quietly, and the display is simple to read.
