The handlebars‘ shape is reminiscent of that of an AssaultRunner Elite manual treadmill; the treadmill is motorized. As per the Peloton website, the handlebars are constructed of “Carbon steel with soft-touch coating,” which is durable and, as Lindsay mentions, it is very comfortable to hold when you’re working out. Some handlebars might be uncomfortable, especially when you begin sweating, but this is not true of the Peloton Tread.
Additionally, the slats that are well-spaced are also similar to those found on the Elite. This feature can aid the user in improving their running performance, since they’re required to use the correct pattern of steps.
